The Great Mumbai Monsoon!!

It's been a while since i started jogging in the morning around 5:30 am and i'm in love with it when its raining also. Running in rain is too much fun, don't know about you people but i enjoy it a lot. It makes the mood and morning jogs are good for health also as it keeps you fit and fixed for the whole day.

It's now the 3rd week since the monsoon arrived in Mumbai and it's been raining quite well, hope the city doesn't get flooded this time as it usually does. I still remember what happened on 26th of July, 2005.

Another Day in Paradise

Phil Collins...great man...great artist...i watched this video on youtube and it brings me back in all my years and then thoughts flooded my mind...not only in USA, there are countless people in the world who doesn't have shelter to hide themselves from freezing cold and hard weather, not even food to survive properly.

Change Your Life

By Changing Your Thinking,
You Change Your Beliefs;
When You Change Your Beliefs,
You Change Your Expectations;

UNFORGIVEN!!

They wished a girl, you came out boy
Bad start, you’re unforgiven!
You dropped and broke an expensive toy
You’re beaten and unforgiven!
Playschool times and you miss your mom
You weep and you’re unforgiven!
You’re tired of school, you wanna go back home
Now you’re adamant and unforgiven!
Tell your dad that you love a girl
You’re a bad son and unforgiven!
Confront him, say she’s a gem, a pearl
You’re banned & and for life – unforgiven!

A Night At The Bachelor's Paradise

There were about 12 of us there. It was a small paying guest setup. This old lady, whom we all lovingly called ‘Aachima’ (Meaning Grandma in Tamil I guess) was my classmate’s actual grandma.
She used to be extremely strict about using electricity. So the rules included ‘No late night TV’. And this was the most awful rule amongst the lot. Being a bachelor, late night TV was not requirement, it was a habbit – like playing cards or brushing teeth ocassionally!
As usual, the papers came in the morning, we all fought to be the first to see whatz on TV that night and figured out there was that one movie in Star Movies which we should not miss. So it was ‘Break the rules’ time! The next in agenda was to get ‘Achima’ to sleep early. The only thing that used to delay the sleep used to be dinner. So we unanimously decided to complete dinner by 7:30. No surprise, Achima was surprised!
The movie was to start at 9. That means she should snore my 8:30. We waited patiently and finally that happened.
